DENSE PHASE SAND PNEUMATIC TRANSPORT

The Sogemi dense phase conveyance technology, in use for over 30 years, has the following advantages:

• Low conveyance speed thanks to the piping that is completely full of sand, featuring an automatically controlled propeller system to ensure that the pipes are always full and allowing reduced piping and bend wear, thereby extending the life of the entire plant.
• Minimum deterioration of the transported material, as it is subjected to very slight and gradual mechanical stress.
• Low compressed air consumption rates with reduced running costs.

Sogemi plants can also be used for the powder transportation. In this case empty pipe technology is used to avoid the risk of pipe clogging. The propeller, controlled by special probes, continues its launching action until the material reaches its destination and the pipe is completely emptied .
