GAMMA-MILL Mechanical reclamation of sands

Tested in hundreds of applications around the world,

The Gamma Mill is a plant designed for the mechanical reclamation of sands.

Technical details:

Operating principle: The Gamma Mill uses a vibration system to subject the sand to an intense mechanical action. The grids, equipped with openings of different sizes, allow the sand to crumble to the desired size, while removing the resin residues present on the grain.

Modularity: Available in different configurations, with capacities ranging from 5 to 20 tons per hour, the Gamma Mill adapts to any production requirement.

Elimination of contaminants: Metal residues and waste are retained inside the machine and discharged through a practical rear door.

Benefits:

High product quality: The Gamma-Mill guarantees a deep cleaning of the sand, eliminating much of the resin residue on the granule and removing the waste present in the sand.

Efficiency: Thanks to the combined action of vibrations and grids, the recovery process is fast and efficient.

Cost reductions: Mechanical sand recovery significantly reduces the costs of disposal and the purchase of new sand.

Respect for the environment: By reducing the amount of waste and promoting the reuse of resources, the Gamma Mill contributes to environmental protection.

CRUSHER

The Crusher is the machine developed by Sogemi specifically for the treatment and crushing of massive sand cores.

Available in two different configurations, with a capacity of 3 to 10 t/h.

Technical details:

Working principle: The Crusher uses a vibration system to subject the sand to an intense mechanical action: the cores of sand are pushed against a special perforated sheet plate positioned on an oblique plane that quickly reduces the cores in granular sand.

Benefits:

Ease of maintenance:

Thanks to the presence of a single grid, specially designed and easily removable, cleaning and maintenance operations are minimised, optimising machine downtime.

Coolers Classifiers Sogemi Efficiency and Precision in Sand Dedusting

Sogemi Grading Coolers are state-of-the-art systems designed to cool and dedust the sands used in resin sand moulding.

How they work:

Positioned downstream of the mechanical and thermal reclamation plants, these machines use a fluidised bed system. Inside, a double circuit of copper finned tubes is routed by chilled water. The hot sand, in contact with these pipes, gives up its heat, reaching the desired temperature. At the same time, an efficient filtration system eliminates suspended dust, ensuring a high cleanliness of the final product.

Flexibility and customisation:

Thanks to the possibility of adjusting the temperature of the cooling water, through the use of a refrigeration group, it is possible to obtain a precise and constant sand temperature, regardless of environmental conditions. Sogemi offers a wide range of models, with capacities ranging from 5 to 20 tons per hour, to meet the needs of every type of production process.

Benefits:

  • High efficiency: Rapid and constant cooling of the sand.
  • High purity: Elimination of dust and impurities.
  • Flexibility: Wide range of models and customisation possibilities.
  • Respect for the environment: Reduction of environmental impact thanks to sand recycling.
Sogemi Coolers Classifiers: The perfect solution for a sustainable production cycle.
